Janet Marlow is internationally known as a composer, researcher and
author for her contributions to the understanding of animal hearing and how
this effects their behavior through music. Her work on behalf of animals has
been featured on Animal Planet, CNN, Martha Stewart, Good Morning America, the
Today Show and the Wall Street Journal. Janet is a member of the Animal
Behavior Society, The Authors Guild and the American Pet Product Association.

Janet Marlow's passion for
the understanding of music as a common language for the animal-human bond was
inspired by her cat, Osborn, over a decade ago when she observed the repeated
behavioral effect of music. Her
groundbreaking research in this field has helped many pet owners with her
specially designed music for dogs, cats, horses and birds. Based on scientific
data and research stems a deep understanding of the power of sound, frequencies
and vibrations. Her work with animal shelters and veterinary hospitals, pet
owner workshops and books continue to bring awareness to pet caregivers of the
complex world of animals to help them feel safe and connected in their
environment.
